A photograph of a family from Huesca became an icon of Spanish exile. One of the faces in that image is little Amadeo Gracia, now one of the last voices able to describe life as a refugee. Starting from this photograph, the memories of Amadeo and other witnesses take us from Spain to France, the journey thousands of Spaniards were forced to make after the defeat of the Republic in 1939.
