Sorious Samura sets out to learn the story of those who live on the edge of starvation. To do so he travels to a village in Ethiopia far beyond the reach of the United Nations and of most NGOs. For two months he lives in a hut and survives on the same precarious diet as the other villagers. Sorious discovers that the reality for more than 40 million Africans is a diet that swings between nothing at all and a handful of leaves.
