On the tightrope, high up under the circus canvas, Ayin dances gracefully as if she were a character in a fairy tale. Her sister Sky waits beside her, about to dance on the wire too. This is the show’s 216th performance, and the last. After years of artistic collaboration and intertwined lives, the circus is coming to an end. The tightrope walkers are exhausted, physically and mentally. The frictions of everyday circus life and the fear of the inevitable separation turn into the painful push that will change the performance. Nothing will be the same again. Ayin and Sky are particularly affected by the situation and will let loose the demons they carry inside. Inseparable, having found comfort in each other through the difficult years of their childhood, they are nothing more than fragile figures facing the final performance.
