Samuel in the Clouds

Bolivian glaciers are melting. Samuel, former worker of a vanished ski resort in Chacaltaya, observes from a window on the roof of the world how the snow and the ice fade away. Clouds wander in front of his house on the highest level of the Bolivian Andes, near La Paz. It all seems lost, but he’s still hopeful that the snow will return. While scientists look for explanations, he invokes the spirits of the holy mountains. A poetic look at the consequences of climate change on people’s lives.
