Saran and Ilan are an odd couple from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is an Israeli who came to the city in search of a better life. There, he met her, a woman with whom he had two daughters. Yet their relationship is extremely problematic: they don’t get on well and they don’t have money or enough affection to properly raise their daughters. An intimate and poignant portrait of an unhappy family that is forced to live at the fringes of society.
