with Israeli film institutions involved in the genocide in Gaza.

DocsBarcelona announces its endorsement this Friday of the Ending Complicity manifesto promoted by Film Workers for Palestine, joining the global call of film professionals who denounce the genocide of the Palestinian people and their cultural community in Gaza. DocsBarcelona commits not to program documentary films or establish collaborations with Israeli film institutions (including festivals, production companies, platforms, distributors, cinemas, and other industry agents) involved in the genocide in Gaza.

With this endorsement, we also firmly denounce the complicit silence of institutions that legitimize the violation of human rights and demand an end to censorship and repression. As a festival committed to freedom of expression and to voices that challenge power, we cannot remain silent: today, more than ever, it is essential to stand with those who have been subjected to erasure.
