Antonio is 86 and lives alone. It is not a solitude he chose; all of a sudden he found himself surrounded by absences and has had to learn to live surrounded by memories. Now he paints in his studio among pictures, drawings and paintings. He also spends time watching old family films on Super 8. This documentary reflects a very close reality, of paintings to give away, of small conversations, of walks, of meals and of days spent alone. Of what it is like to live when you are truly on your own.
