Dan Geva and his wife tell us their story in this bittersweet comedy. Dan suffers from hyperacusis, which turns his life in Tel Aviv, one of the noisiest urban centres on earth, into hell. His attempts to live in peace and quiet by appealing to his neighbours’ consideration or asking the authorities for help come to nothing. So he decides to act and installs a special home surveillance system to monitor and control, through a megaphone, the invasive noise of his neighbourhood. But before long the fantasy of also silencing his own family life changes life at home.
