Through Mileidy’s eyes we discover the life of her native people, the Embera of Colombia. When she was barely 5, her grandfather was murdered. She and her family, like so many others, were forcibly displaced to the city of Medellín. From the very first frames, nature fills the screen; a pair of bare feet lead the way to the customs and experiences of her people. She shows us a special feeling: that of still belonging to this land.
