Sugar Town: The Day After examines the political consequences of the biggest wildfires that took place on the Peloponnesian Peninsula in 2007 in the small village of Sugar Town. Mayor Pantazis Chronopoulos, a self-proclaimed hero, will not stop at anything to rebuild Sugar Town, where his Vice Mayor and 24 villagers died. The question is: Will his plans to redevelop the area and his indifference to the law destroy what is left?
