María lives with her mother May in the Canary Islands, 3,000 km from Barcelona, where Miguel Gallardo lives. Sometimes Miguel and María spend a week’s holiday at a resort in the south of Gran Canaria, an unusual setting that is not used to hosting a father on his own with a fourteen-year-old daughter with autism. This is the story of one of those trips and, above all, an original account, full of humour, irony and honesty, of what it is like to live with a disability.
