Under the contemplative gaze of a camera, the film portrays the moments of loneliness and neglect that some older people face in the final stage of their lives. The care homes that end up being their homes, and the long passing of time within them, are the last station before the inevitable journey towards death. This intimate story portrays people with rich inner lives who have been forgotten by the outside world. Beautifully filmed, with natural light in an exquisite supporting role.
