Over a period of almost two years, the lives of five characters cross in the setting of a mental health hospital. All five have seen, or will see, their capacity to understand and perceive reality severely altered, invaded and stripped of everything that makes up their own identity as people. Following the trail of these intimate stories, the film takes us on an emotional journey of discovery in search of a chink of light in the apparently inexplicable, enigmatic universe of madness. Like a mystery novel, patiently and rigorously, the film reveals the signs that secretly trace the narrative thread of the human story hidden behind any process of mental disorder.
